South America

Wine has been made in South America for at least 500 years.  Many of the grape varieties that we commonly associate with South America, such as Malbec, Carménère, and Tannat, are native to southwest France, but they thrive in South America’s climate.  In this class, we will explore wines from Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, and Brazil.
