Grain Blend


¼ cup buckwheat groats

¼ cup whole grain teff

¼ cup hulled millet

¼ cup quinoa

¼ cup amaranth

¼ cup flaxseeds

¼ cup steel-cut oats

¼ cup polenta

¼ cup pumpkin seeds


Combine all ingredients in an airtight container, and shake to combine. Store in the freezer until ready to use.


Note: You can add some of this blend, up to ¼ cup, to a loaf of bread before baking. It can be mixed into the dough or the bread can be rolled in it.
