Colombian Cheese Bread



120 grams masarepa flour (precooked corn flour that is used for arepas)

450 grams cuajada cheese

1 tablespoon melted butter

½ tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

2 tablespoons milk



Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.


Process the cheese and masarepa flour in a food processor until it forms a paste.  Add the remaining ingredients.  Pulse until well blended and smooth.


Scoop out portions of about 2 tablespoons onto the prepared sheet pan.  


Bake for 10 - 15 minutes until golden brown.
